These three homes, designed pro-bono for Habitat for Humanity of Worcester County, earned Energy Star qualification and have a HERS rating of 60 (meaning they use just 60% of the energy of a typical home, built to the energy code). They demonstrate numerous techniques for achieving both sustainability and affordability.
