Quillin Residence, Berlin, MD, 2000, Fine Homebuilding Annual Houses Issue 2002

This residence was designed to reflect the local vernacular architecture and complement the low, marshy site.

It utilizes multiple green strategies including passive solar control, radiant heat and trombe flooring. The majority of the site is being extensively restored to its native condition of woods and meadowland.
